Hungry? You will be. A new neighborhood restaurant, called Añejo Mexican Bistro, is serving everything from bocaditos and antojitos (starters and appetizers) to tortas (sandwiches), salads and tacos at 599 Main St. in Hyannis.

Offering "authentic Mexican food with a Cape Cod twist," per its website, Añejo Mexican Bistro first opened its doors in 2010 at its Falmouth location.

On the menu, there are a number of seafood dishes, like fish tacos, crab tostadas and salads with grilled swordfish. Guacamole — prepared tableside — and street food like grilled corn on the cob with garlic-chile aioli, cotija cheese and grilled lime are also on offer.

Pair your meal with a margarita or other tequila- and mezcal-based cocktails like the Smoke and Mirrors, made from pineapple puree, Cabrito Blanco tequila, Mina Real mezcal, Lillet Blanc, fresh lime and agave syrup.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Añejo Mexican Bistro seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Ashley G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 17, wrote, "Stopped in on an early Sunday evening and the place was packed. Beautifully designed and had a great energy. The food was amazing!"

And C B. wrote, "The staff was warm and friendly on a busy summer night. Food was delicious. It's a must try. Great atmosphere and outside patio to dine."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Añejo Mexican Bistro is open from 11:30 a.m.-1 a.m. Monday-Saturday and 10:30 a.m.-1 a.m. Sunday.
